Ibiza Wedding Photographer
Everybody loves a wedding in the sun, but for Ibiza wedding photographer and other vendors can be tricky like on this wedding on Ibiza. When you look at wedding photos, all you’ll see is a glorious wedding, full of fun, sunshine and laughter. What you don’t see is that it was raining all morning, leaving me to re-consider all the outdoor shots. But just before the ceremony started the sun and we were able to revert to the original plan.
This was the first Jewish wedding Ibiza Wedding I’d photographed and it was wonderful to be able to photograph a combination of traditional and modern elements.
How to capture the high spots of your wedding
Real pleasures as an Ibiza wedding photographer is having the experience to capture the unforgettable moments that happen at weddings. For me, one of those moments was the second that Jodie’s father, Clive, saw his daughter in her wedding dress. Candid photography is always an important part of creating the perfect wedding album and I’m always on the look out for those perfect instants in time that encapsulate the emotion of the day.
But candid wedding photography alone is often not enough to bring a wedding to life. A great day needs a combination of lively, candid shots and carefully planned and stage-managed ones. These planned shots can tie together the various phases of the day, and also allow the bride and groom moments when they can pause and take stock of their experience so far, which is just as important for them to really enjoy their day as it is for great Ibiza wedding photographer.
Then of course there’s the fun and high spirits of the evening party with glamorous dresses, drinks and dancing … all of which give extra pizazz to Jodie and Harry’s wedding shots.
Emotionally powerful wedding photographs
Jodie and Harry had some clear ideas about how they wanted their Ibiza wedding photos to look, which made it easier for me to structure their couple shots to show the strength of their relationship and the humour and passion that they share. Being able to work with them to craft beautiful photographs that would have deep personal meaning for them was one of the most satisfying parts of the day.
