Bali Wedding Photographer
Working with Dani and Aitana as a Bali Wedding Photographer was very special. He’s a fashion photographer and she’s a model. Of course, when they offered me the chance to be their Bali wedding photographer. I jumped at the chance!
Bali wedding photography – waterfalls and rice terraces
There’s a lot to be considered when planning an outdoor shoot. Lighting and access, temperature and climate. All have an effect on the final pictures, and while outdoor wedding photographs tend to be a reasonably structured and formal affair, a couples shoot is always a fast-moving business where an experienced Bali wedding photographer has to be sensitive to the mood of the couple as well as the changing elements of working outdoors. All these factors influenced the session with Dani and Aitana, as did their own ideas about the kind of shots they wanted, and the way these couple photographs would typify their relationship and serve as a counterpoint to all the other photographs in their working lives, with one of them always behind the camera and the other one in front!
Beginning with the waterfall Kanto Lampo we worked together to shape some romantic photographs that epitomised the tender nature of Dani and Aitana’s relationship, set against the backdrop of the falls which make a dramatic frame for some passionate images. Then we moved to the rice terraces to change the mood a little. Then we shot with a more light-hearted vibe, which shows the essentially fun-loving attitude this happy couple bring to everything they do. Spending time with Dani and Aitana as a Bali wedding photographer was an absolute joy.
